Knott's Berry Farm

After some discussion with the locals we decided to scrap the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Everybody said you would probably not enjoy the safari until you were older. So we went to Knott's Berry Farm instead! Uncle Dan's family has season passes, so we were able to get in for FREE! (Mommy LOVES F-R-E-E!)

Knott's Berry Farm is a small/local amusement park. Their website claims it to be "America's 1st Theme Park". It has quite and interesting history! Too bad mommy didn't know about all this before our visit! LOL!

You were already getting in trouble before the day even got started! 

 Our visit was just the perfect time for their annual and very popular Camp Spooky!

when we first approached Linus for pictures, you were fine, but then he reached down to touch your shoulders and I think he startled you. You ran towards mommy and started crying! =( Daddy picked you up immediately and you quickly calmed down again for more pictures. *whew*

You made spooky crafts:

You had your 1st real trick or treating experience. You got the hang of it immediately!!!

You rode the Red Baron ride ALL BY YOURSELF! (your 1st solo amusement ride!)
Daddy helped you get loaded up and secured:

Mommy was so nervous that you would get scared and cry, but you did great!

 After all that excitement, we took a break and watched a show!

Then you rode more rides:

Check yourself out on Charlie Brown's Speedway! As we stood in line, you excitedly watched all the previous children ride. You obviously picked up tips from them, because to Mommy's surprise you immediately were doing the whole "Look Ma! No Hands!" thing, waving your hands in the air and squealing with excitement! LOL!!! But I guess your arms got tired after a while and so you held on to the handrail instead for the 2nd half of the ride. =P

Camp Bus (You rode this same ride for the first time this summer in Las Vegas!):

the Merry Go Round (Mommy's 1st time getting to ride with you!):

At first, you chose to ride that crazy looking ostrich in the pictures way above, but Mommy was able to
convince you to switch over to a better looking horse. After the ride, you made mommy stop
at almost each of the animals we passed so you could give them a kiss on the nose! <3

We totally worked up an appetite for lunch!
Check out the HUGE hot dog you had!!!! Too bad you only ate like 4 bites of it! =P

Look at the scary looking Heterometrus Spinifer Scorpion Mommy touched and let crawl on me!!! Don't worry, supposedly this type of scorpion is not dangerous, and actually even edible! (yuck!)

Finally, we went for a ride on the Calico Railroad in Ghost Town:

The cowboy even stopped to talk to you!

By the end of the day, you were knocked out and DONE with taking anymore pictures. LOL!
