2011 Super Bowl XLVI

Mommy and Daddy had a weekend getaway to Las Vegas, NV this weekend for Super Bowl XLVI. It was the New England Patriots vs the New York Giants. This game is an exact repeat of 2008's Super Bowl XLII. (We were also in Vegas for that super bowl! The Giants were huge underdogs, not expected to win. But we all loved Eli Manning so much, and were totally rooting for him! And they WON!!!! woot woot!)

Fast forward to THIS YEAR..... The Giants were expected to win; and Mommy really does not like the Patriots (Tom Brady in particular, because he is a jerk!!), but Auntie Pam (aka "Miss Cleo") had a dream that indicated the Patriots would win this year. She has been having Super Bowl dreams for the past 5 years about who would win, and she has always been right! So... we all placed our money on the Patriots... and what do you know? The Giants won AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! *sigh* LOL. Oh well.... we all still had a great time in Las Vegas!

We went to Vegas with: Auntie Pam & Uncle Rick, Auntie Nang & Uncle Tho (who were also celebrating their bdays!), Bac's Nga & Dung, and Bac Dung & her friend Ben!

we went to eat at our favorite place: The Oyster Bar located in the Palace Station Casino:

This place has the BEST food!!! Fresh oysters, Combination Pan Roast, Alaskan Clam Chowder... i could on! The main Chef is Bob! He is awesome!!! Such a funny guy! His helper is Deloris. She is super cute and funny too! They are such hard workers! Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until you are 21 to try this place out because they do not allow under 21's because it's located right in the open casino area.

After lunch, we went to The Bellagio Casino, where they still had their Lunar New Years decorations up. You would have loved seeing the cool dragons and the beautiful koi fish pond they had!

After Bellagio, we all went to a Chinese Foot Massage place and all got hour long massages.

For dinner, we went to the Mandalay Bay buffet; and afterwards, went up 

to their rooftop bar to check out the view:

Then, we went to club Tao at the Venetian.

Diddy was scheduled to host at the club

I was skeptical of his actual appearance.... but sure enough, he showed up!!!!

Olympic Champions Michael Phelps and Apolo Ohno showed up too!!
Unfortunately I only got pics of Michael Phelps.... the crowd and security got too crazy!!
(we ALSO got to see Brad Garrett of  Everybody Loves Raymond on our first night!
He was checking into the MGM Signature Suites right next to us!!! - I also did not get pics,
coz it was LATE and I was being "shy" LOL!!! he is soooooooo super tall!)

On Sunday, Auntie Pam hooked us up w/ entrance to Luxor's Super Watching party.

and like i said before.. we all lost too much money on that game. BOO!!! 

I will never bet on the Patriots/Tom Brady again!!!! But luckily, mommy was able to
win some money back on the black jack tables before our flight home!! =)))

Ba Ngoai said you did well for most of the weekend, except the first night. Mommy & Daddy had a late flight, so we were able to put you to bed before we left. Ba Ngoai said you woke up at like 12am and asked for sua.... everything was fine, but after you finished your sua, you started looking around for Mommy. When you realized that Mommy was not in the room, you had a tantrum and cried and cried so hard that you threw up all over yourself and Ba Ngoai =(((
