Cincinnati, OH..... FINALLY!!!! (09/30 - 10/02)

We finally made it to Cincinnati, Ohio Logan!!!!! After cancelling and rescheduling like 5 times, we FINALLY actually made it up to visit our Best Bans!!!!!! Co Kieu and Mommy were so nervous all week, afraid something would happen and we'd have to cancel/reschedule again. We had a big scare on Wed because the school sent a late e-mail saying somebody in your class had LICE! OMG! I was sure w/ our luck that you'd end up with lice, too.... but luckily you did not! To be cautious, Mommy even kept you home from school on Thursday and asked Ba Ngoai to watch you.

Our flight to CVG was great. The seat next to us was unoccupied, 

so you had plenty of space to play around and explore until the flight took off. 

You fell asleep right as we took off.

As soon as we arrived Co Kieu was ready to pick us up. We had lunch at one of the only 2 Pho restaurants in the area: Pho Lang Thang. It was a cute place right in the city. You ate up your whole bowl!!

Uncle Thomas took some pictures for us, but it was a bit too chilly and overcast so we cut it short.

Lucky for you, Ethan and Evan have an action packed play room! They have just about every toy a boy your age could dream of! You were in ball heaven in their "ball pit" play house! 

They introduced you to Yo Gabba Gabba! and ya'll shared a dancing jam session:

For the most part, ya'll played "nice" with each other. Mommy was a little worried before our arrival because Co Kieu kept telling me that Evan was a bully. LOL! But he did not bully you around (unless you were trying to hog all his toys! <---which you were many times!! *tsk* *tsk*). Mommy was very disappointed at how unwilling YOU were to play nice and share! especially because these were not YOUR toys! Mommy was so embarrassed to have to put you in "time out" so often! =(

We just hung out for most of the day on Saturday. Co Kieu invited some friends and family over for wings and pizza Saturday night. It was good to see everybody again and even meet some new people. Everybody is so nice.

You were unsuccessful in winning over Emma. Her #1 is definitely Evan. It was so cute to see how protective she is of Evan! Every time Mommy coerced you to lean in to kiss or hug her, she would lean away in the opposite direction and Evan would protect his woman and push you away. Hahaha!!! It's ok, long distance would have never worked out anyways! LOL!!! (too bad I didn't get a picture of the 3 of you together!)

So the sun FINALLY came out on Sunday for our final day in Cincy! We jumped on the opportunity for another photo shoot by Uncle Thomas. He took us to Devou Park because 1) it was on the way to the airport and 2) there was a spot that offered a terrific view of Cincinnati's downtown skyline.

You and Evan opted for a nap during the drive
so that you could both be well rested and refreshed for the shoot:

You were not as good for our return trip. You kept trying to "run away" at the airport before we got into security (and before Mommy strapped you into the Pikkolo, like I should have from the start!) and you threw a FIT on the plane! I guess the "terrible 2's" are fast approaching! =P
